Dear Loyal Woodmere Supporter,

After a long exploration of the various options available, we have made the very difficult decision to cease operations at Castle China and bring to closure a nearly 40 year run for the Woodmere brand. This decision comes after much discussion with various potential buyers, merger candidates, and other alternative possibilities.

For more than three decades, the Woodmere brand has been synonymous with the heritage of America and we sincerely want to thank all of our very loyal supporters, customers, vendors, and most of all our employees. The current economic environment and that of the past several years has simply not been good to our small American brand and we have not been able to be the company that we have wanted to be for our shrinking base of customers. Our final day of business will be December 28th of this year.

In the meantime, we will accept orders on our website through 12/14 as long as we are able to fulfill them. If we are unable to fulfill your entire order, we will alert you and you can decide if you would like to receive what we are able to ship. We are intending to cease shipments on/about Dec 21st.

Again, we want to personally thank you for your long and loyal support. Our special appreciation goes out to the current employees of Castle China for their enduring loyalty and those employees throughout the many years that have helped to make the Woodmere brand such a prestigious symbol of American history.
